Fourth session in 2025
"Fuyun Cup"
Welding innovation contest is over.
Isae is a gift to the talent.
Organized by the Faculty of Material Sciences and Engineering, Faculty of Teaching and Engineering, Jamus University
The fourth “Fuyun” glass welding innovation competition was held at the Experimental Building of the Faculty of Material Sciences and Engineering of Jamus University on 29 November 2025.
This has been successfully concluded through the active participation of leaders, teachers, staff and resource students.
As a sponsor of the competition, Fuyun has continued to follow and support talent development and technological exploration in the area of welding.
Professional and practical: the focus of the competition on engineering applications
The competition has two tracks, one for fixed and self-selected topics, covering the practical engineering components of welding process design, structure optimization, economic analysis, etc.
The team, which is a team of 25 from welding technology and engineering, metallurgical engineering, metal engineering, etc., is now participating in the competition.
The professional skills are demonstrated through innovative design, 3D simulation modelling, data analysis, presentation of works, and cross-sections of sub-line PPP work.
The material science and engineering college is closely linked to the subject matter of the competition, and works are designed for engineering applications in terms of welding process design, structural design, economics of the programme, etc.
The many entries not only show solid expertise but also a perfect mix of innovative thinking and practical skills.
Some of the works have introduced novel and unique welding programs that have effectively improved welding efficiency and quality in response to specific engineering challenges,
A very informative solution was provided for the practical engineering applications.
These works fully demonstrate the outstanding ability of the Faculty of Material Science and Engineering to apply theoretical knowledge to practical engineering issues.
Evaluation and Results: 25 teams demonstrated professional standards

The evaluation was carried out by university teachers in conjunction with technical representatives of Fuyun, and was conducted in a comprehensive manner, from the innovative, practical, completion dimension.
The review resulted in 25 awards for teams:
First prize group 5: works are prominent in their innovative and integral nature
Second-class group 8: The work is more robust in terms of the applicability of the project and the design of the details
Third prize group 12: The work shows a good professional basis and a spirit of exploration
Co-benefits: expertise in co-welding

The Faculty of Material Science and Engineering of the University of Jamus has always focused on the development of practical skills of students, providing them with a platform for translating theoretical knowledge into solutions through the organization of games.
Fuyun, as an industry partner, has been involved in the professional development process by supporting the competition and, together with universities, has promoted the application of welding technology.
The competition provided students with a full project experience, from design to live defence, and enhanced their integrated capabilities in engineering thinking, technology applications and teamwork.
The advancement of welding technology requires the continuous training of professionals and practical cooperation between the productive and productive communities.
Fuyun will continue to support tertiary skills development and work with the educational community to promote industrial technological development.

Fuyun is committed to promoting industrial progress through technical support and human capacity development.
