Medical implants are now increasingly used, and are derived from new alloy development and manufacturing technologies, such as enrichment material manufacturing, requiring a closer look at their microstructure, which is usually of good mechanical strength, grinding resistance and corrosive resistance. The gold phase of these components allows for a thorough examination of microstructures, coatings (mainly hydroxyl phosphate) and potential defects in new manufacturing technologies.
