The Kim-Ying Skills Competition, which is designed to strengthen the basics of material-related professions, stimulate students’ interest in learning, and develop basic skills, hands-on skills and craftsmanship, became a national university competition, endorsed by the relevant departments of the Ministry of Education. The Golden-Skills Competition for university students was originally launched by the University of Chen-Wah, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Tianjin University, National Defense Science and Technology University, Kunming University of Technology, Chungking University, South East University, Naknan University, Changzhou University, Shanghai Institute of Applied Technology, and others.
